This decision is subject to the following conditions:
The site of the proposed development lies outside the defined development boundary of the adopted Wychavon District Local Plan, where it is the policy of the Local Planning Authority to restrict new development to sites lying within the development boundary or sites otherwise allocated for specific purposes. It is the policy not to permit new residential development within the rural area, unless specific exemptions set out in Policy H9 of the Local Plan are satisfied, none of which apply to this case. The proposed development would, by virtue of its siting within the rural area remote from the nearest development boundary at Charlton constitute an unwarranted and unwelcome encroachment into the rural area, contrary to the aims and objectives of Policy H9 of the adopted Wychavon District Local Plan Policy GD1 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Review First Deposit and Policy D10 of the adopted Worcestershire County Structure Plan.
