This decision is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The extension proposed would by virtue of its size, height and siting result in an overdevelopment of the site, being harmful to the amenities of adjoining dwellings and harmful to the character of the area. The proposal is therefore contrary to policies GD2 and SUR9 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Review Second Deposit.

  2. In addition, the proposed extension will almost completely fill the gap between 1 Hill View Road and The Almhouses, which are adjacent Grade II listed buildings, to the detriment of their setting. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy CTC 19 of the adopted Worcestershire County Structure Plan, CB5 of the Adopted Wychavon District Local Plan and Policy ENV16 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Review Second Deposit.
