This decision is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The works to which this consent relates must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of the grant of this consent.

    Reason - In accordance with the requirements of Section 18 (1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

  2. Prior to any building works being first commenced, samples of the natural stone walling shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The stone thus approved shall be laid in coursing to match that of the existing walls/laid randomly/ laid in courses and shall be rough/hammer/chisel/ashlar dressed. All pointing shall be in lime putty bagged flush with the face of the stone. Details of the means of spanning structural openings, window surrounds, quoins, kneelers, band or string courses shall be approved in the same manner.

    Reason - To ensure the special historic and architectural interest of the building is properly maintained, in accordance with Policy CB11 of the Adopted Wychavon District Local Plan (January 1998) and Policy ENV15 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Review Second Deposit (July 2003).

    Reason - To ensure the historic and architectural character and appearance of the conservation area is properly preserved or enhanced, in accordance with Policies CB3 and CB4 of the Adopted Wychavon District Local Plan (January 1998) and Policy ENV13 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Review Second Deposit (July 2003).
