Decision Date: 3 September 2003
Case Officer: Caroline Ansell
Decision: Refused - Change of Use
This decision is subject to the following conditions:
The development would result in a low level of amenity for the occupiers of the new three bedroomed houses due to a lack of any private garden space. The proposal is therefore contrary to policy H19 in the Adopted Wychavon District Local Plan and Policy GD2 in the Wychavon District Local Plan Revised Deposit.
The scheme, by virtue of the introduction of dormer/bay windows and porch overhangs, does not reflect the simple lines and character of the original building and would therefore be harmful to the character and appearance of the building and this part of the village of Offenham. The proposal is therefore contrary to policy H8 in the adopted Wychavon District Local Plan and polices GD2 and SUR1A in the Wychavon District Local Plan Revised Deposit.
