Case Officer: Robert Peel
Status: Decided
Decision: Refused - Planning
This decision is subject to the following conditions:
The existing business operating from the site does not have the benefit of planning permission. The further intensification of use of the site that would be likely to occur as a result of this building would result in increased noise and disturbance from the industrial uses associated with the manufacturing and assembly of doors, windows and conservatories. This would have an adverse impact on the amenity of the occupiers of the adjoining property and would also result in an increase in the number of vehicles using the existing access which is Public Right of Way and which is considered unsuitable to serve such a commercial development. The proposal would therefore be contrary to Policies BC1 and E4 of the adopted Wychavon District Local Plan and Policies GD1 and GD2 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Review Revised First Deposit.
