This decision is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The proposed extension to this Grade II Listed Cottage, which also adjoins another Grade II Listed Building, would, by virtue of its scale, design and siting, create an over dominant feature which would be disruptive to the architectural form of the building and be harmful to the special qualities of the listed building. The property also lies within the Cleeve Prior Conservation Area and the proposed extension would neither preserve nor enhance the character of the Conservation Area.

    The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies CTC9 and CTC20 in the Worcestershire County Structure Plan, Policies CB3, CB4, CB5 and CB11 in the Wychavon District Local Plan and Policies ENV13, ENV15 and ENV16 in the Wychavon District Local Plan Revised Deposit.
