The construction of an additional dwelling in an area at risk of flooding is likely to exacerbate the problem and therefore the proposal is contrary to policy CTC8 in the Worcestershire County Structure Plan, policy BC9 in the Wychavon District Local Plan and policy ENV17 in the Wychavon District Local Plan Revised Deposit
The design and siting of the new dwelling will give rise to overlooking and a loss of privacy to neighbouring properties. The proposal is therefore contrary to policy GD2 in the Wychavon District Local Plan Revised Deposit.
The construction of a new vehicular access in an area where there is a significant amount of on-street parking will add to the congestion by making one less space available to existing residents and thereby be contrary to the interests of highway safety.
