This decision is subject to the following conditions:

  1. It is considered that the proposed extension, to link the converted stone barn and detached garage, by virtue of its volume, height and elaborate design, would be unduly dominant and out of character with the simple architecture of the original barn. As such, the link extension would be an unsympathetic addition, which would be harmful to the historic character of the barn. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies AG11 and AG12 of the adopted Wychavon District Local Plan, Policies RES10, SUR9, SUR1A and GD2 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Review Revised Deposit.
