Case Officer: Robert Peel
Status: Decided
Decision: Refused - Planning
This decision is subject to the following conditions:
The proposed building would be sited away from the main group of farm buildings, adjoining a public right of way and would result in a very large, isolated, obtrusive and visually prominent structure within the open countryside. This would be contrary to Policy CTC1 of the Worcestershire County Structure Plan, Policy AG14 of the adopted Wychavon District Local Plan and Policies ENV1, GD2, SUR1A and ECON7 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Revised Deposit.
The creation of a new access in this location would result in the loss of a significant part of the existing mature boundary hedge. This, together with the proposed access drive and hardstanding, would have a harmful impact on the character of the area and would fail to comply with Policy CTC1 of the County Structure Plan and Policy ENV1 of the Wychavon District Local Plan Revised Deposit.
