  1. The proposed extensions by reason of their height, design, size and siting would not be subservient to, and be harmful to the character of, the existing dwelling house. The proposal is, therefore, not considered to be of high quality design and contrary to Policies GD2 and SUR6 of the Wychavon District Local Plan (June 2006), as well as guidance contained in the Council's Residential Design Guide. It is considered that any benefits of the scheme would not outweigh the harm caused.
