Application Type: Householder planning

Parish: North Claines

Ward: Lovett & North Claines

Application Received: 7 February 2014

Statutory Start Date: 7 February 2014

Consultation Period From: 11 February 2014

Consultation Period End: 8 March 2014

Decision Date: 1 April 2014

Case Officer: David Addison

Status: Decided

Decision: Refused - Householder Application

This decision is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The proposed two storey extension, by virtue of it's close proximity to the rear elevation and private amenity area of neighbouring property 2 Teasel Way to the north, would result in an excessively high blank wall immediately adjoining the boundary of this neighbouring property. This would create an unattractive and dominant feature which would result in loss of amenity to and have an overbearing impact on the occupiers of this dwelling. The proposals would therefore be contrary to Policies GD2 and SUR6 of the Wychavon District Local Plan (June 2006)
