This decision is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The proposed 60 sq.m building is not considered to represent either an appropriate or essential facility for sport and recreation, and as such would constitute inappropriate development in the Green Belt. The protection of the openness of the Green Belt is an overriding planning consideration and there is a presumption against inappropriate development within it. It is considered that no very special circumstances exist which are required to justify this inappropriate development within the Green Belt. As such, it is considered that the proposed replacement outbuilding would be contrary to saved Policy SR7 of the Wychavon District Local Plan (June 2006) and paragraph 89 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
